The Australian Red Cross is one of Australia’s biggest non-profits by fundraising income, with 2,000 staff and 25,000 volunteers working collaboratively across Australia to achieve humanitarian objectives.
The challenge
Maintaining meaningful face-to-face relationships across remote sites
The Australian Red Cross is one of Australia’s biggest non-profits by fundraising income, with 2,000 staff and 25,000 volunteers working collaboratively across Australia to achieve humanitarian objectives.
Its existing video collaboration system wasn’t supporting the non-profit’s communication needs with respect to building closer collaborative relationships and reducing travel requirements.
The humanitarian organisation sought a simple, cost-effective solution to enhance internal collaboration and support greater productivity in this specific context.
The Solution
Flexible collaboration and communication solutions for varied sites
The humanitarian non-profit, as part of its End User Computing project, successfully implemented Skype for Business through Office 365. The project also saw the Red Cross set up 25 Logitech Skype Room Systems with either Logitech Group or MeetUp. More than 65 portable Logitech Conference Cameras were also installed.
Logitech’s wide range of products gave the Australian Red Cross the flexibility and choice to find the right solution for its varied sites. The organisation was able to tailor its solutions to the needs of individual sites.
